Google Spreadsheet to coordinate schedules
I’ve become a big fan of Google Apps over the last year.
One of the ways I use the Google Form/Spreadsheet application is to coordinate schedules.
- Create a form with name and potential meeting times (as checkboxes)
- Embed and email the form to participants
- After they respond, go to Form -> Summary. Where there is 100% agreement is when you can meet.

The Hour Motif in John (AKA Frustration #9380 with the NIV)
Ways to $ave
- 1800contacts pricematch + 2% – $5/mo
- Cut own hair – $15/mo
- Shop at Aldi and buy generic – $40/mo
- Switch to Ooma and cancel home phone service – $25/mo
- Switch to PagePlus Cellular – $10/month [resource | great prepaid comparison chart]
- Switch to different home and auto insurance carrier – $55/mo
- Eat at home – $30/mo
The interesting this is that our quality of life has remained mostly the same. That is, we are just substituting here–not even cutting back. In the case of eating at home, I think our quality of life has actually gone up as Grace cooks far better than any restaurant!

“Make me know my end . . . “
4 “O Lord, make me know my end
and what is the measure of my days;
let me know how fleeting I am!
5 Behold, you have made my days a few handbreadths,
and my lifetime is as nothing before you.
Surely all mankind stands as a mere breath! Selah
6 Surely a man goes about as a shadow!
Surely for nothing they are in turmoil;
man heaps up wealth and does not know who will gather!
-Psalm 39:4-6

Award-winning journalist David Batstone reveals the story of a new generation of 21st century abolitionists and their heroic campaign to put an end to human bondage. In his accessible and inspiring book, Batstone carefully weaves the narratives of activists and those in bondage in a way that not only raises awareness of the modern-day slave trade, but also serves as a call to action.
The Horizontal and Vertical Dimension of Biblical Faith
“We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus [vertical] and of the love that you have for all the saints [horizontal]” (Col. 1:3-4)
==> How can we say we love God when we hate other Christians?
