Ministries should use the Internet to promote before the conference and to provide resources after the conference.
On your conference website include:
- mp3 / videos of sessions
- links / resources provided by the speakers / leaders
- photos by attendees (common tag on Flickr?)
- Attendr to see where attendees are from

Consider using wordpress.com for a conference blog and some of these sites for storage of the mp3s and videos. [or use YouTube for the videos. be sure to tag them all with the same tag.]
Finally, for smaller conferences where attendees want to stay in touch, consider using an aggregator like suprglu.com or grou.ps.
