“When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble is wisdom.” (Prov 11:2)

Do you love humility? Personally (and perhaps ironically?) I find pride so putrid. A me-centered individual is so dull because he lacks the textures of community. (If you’ve ever had a one-sided conversation where you ask all the questions and do most of the listening, you know what I’m talking about.)

One of my favorite quotes is: “You can have no greater sign of a confirmed pride than when you think you are humble enough.”

May God give us the grace to continue to pursue and love humility!
